This is the first time I seriously tried to draw Princess Mononoke for a final project in art. I used my "Art of Princess Mononoke" book and picked some of my favorite scenes from the movie. This picture took such a long time, but I think it was worth it. I did a rough pencil sketch then went over it and finalized it with a combination of HB, 2B, 4B, 6B, and 8B artist pencils! Tell me what you think (especially all you Mononoke and Miyazaki fans)! I'll put my prisma colored pencil collage on here next! It's a completely different Princess Mononoke collage but just as awesome!
Thanks so much! Again, cool Eternal Sailor Moon! Your prisma marker skills are amazing! I find marker so difficult to work with Glad you like it! Hooray for my first comment on my first submission!
Thanks for the comment! This was done by hand, too! Glad you like it! I love using pencil and other traditional mediums. By the way, I also like your avatar. Sonic the Hedgehog, Knuckles the Echidna, and Miles Tails Prower rock! I practically grew up on the Sega Genesis videogames, Saturday morning Sonic cartoons, and Sonic comics!

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.

There's a lot of detail in it. It look me a minute to skim through the whole thing. Great use of pencil, too.
